About Dr FAB, MD

Dr Fariya Bukhari, MD aka Dr FAB is a writer/poet/activist/politician/physician/scientist/philanthropist/producer/journalist/defence analyst & a strategist. She is interested in politics, peace, innovation and global justice. She was born in Faisalabad Punjab, Pakistan. She did her O levels from City School, Karachi. She did her Fsc from Kinnaird College Lahore. She then did her medicine from King Edward medical College, Lahore. She finished her residency in Internal Medicine from University of Arizona, USA. She is working as a hospitalist with 15 years of experience in medicine. Her passion is her philanthropic projects for the welfare of humanity. She is working for education, liberation & empowerment of the under privileged. She is also involved in politics trying to bring a palpable change at Pakistan's political level that ensures protection of masses against human rights violations, injustice, corruption & terrorism. She started working as a humanitarian in 2010 to give free medical aid to the victims of the floods in Pakistan. However, she soon realised that she must provide economic freedom to the residents of Pakistan's rural sector in order for any of Pakistan's poverty indicators to change. It is then that she quietly started peaceful online activism by initiating a blog on face book by the name of free Kissan free Pakistan now called Dr FAB, MD. The aim was to raise awareness & provide research tools to farmers for a better quality of life & to ensure a stable geo-political environment for the under-privileged population. Her audience having grown to more than 600,000 on this blog urged her to take practical initiatives by launching her suggested empowerment projects herself. Her blog was shut down by Face Book 5 times due to her peaceful activism against Indian war crimes in Kashmir. It is then that she formed free Kissan free Pakistan (FKFP) as an NGO to deliver tools of empowerment to the 115 million farmers of Pakistan. She launched 12 humanitarian successful projects under this platform. As a human rights' activist, she took her proposals to various political leaders of Pakistan so as to achieve a nation-wide impact for bringing a dynamic change in the rural sector's infrastructure. However, she was disappointed to see that no one amongst the elite including the current government was interested in changing the lives of Pakistanis living on $2 a day. It is then that she decided to plunge into politics herself. She formed a political party in Pakistan by the name of  PakIslam Positive League i.e PIPL. She campaigned heavily for human rights on this platform. She initially planned to compete in the elections 2018. However, she saw that the electoral process of Pakistan was corrupt & chose people to the Senate & the Assembly on the basis of their "baradari", feudal influence & wealth. She campaigned against the electoral process challenging the election commission of Pakistan & decided to boycott the elections herself. She is currently working on an institution by the name of Pakistan-Peace Universal Strategic Hope (PUSH) Institute that will make the voice of Pakistanis audible at an international level against all the negative propaganda being generated by Pakistan's enemies. Her plans are to bring Pakistan at the fore-front in a leadership position to secure global peace & get Pakistan its rightful space in the international community that it deserves due to its immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism. She has been blogging for global peace against the military industrial complex that is responsible for the lethal invasions of Libya, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia & Sudan. She has fought against the oligarchy of wealthy nations plundering the resources of the smaller nations. She has campaigned against the global economic bullies that have decimated smaller nations through IMF & the World Bank. She has petitioned United Nations on change.org over its deafening silence on gruesome atrocities committed by Israel & India in Gaza & Kashmir. She is a strong advocate of keeping the sovereignty of any nation intact & has always fought against those who manipulate financial institutions & political parties to compromise the freedom of the smaller nations. She has advocated for Islamic democracy not just in Pakistan but also in Afghanistan. Her goal is to unite the smaller nations on a newer platform that safeguards them against the insatiable hunger of the wealthier nations protecting their sovereignty against any foreign insults allowing them to prosper & grow against all the odds thrown at them by the vultures of the global elite. She has a small team of extremely dedicated professionals like Junaid Nazir who are willing to sacrifice their time, energy & resources to achieve a prosperous Pakistan & to secure global peace. She funds her political & human rights campaigns from her personal funds. She is not rich herself but her goal was never to achieve wealth. Truth, Justice, Humanity & Peace are the driving forces of her campaigns that target all bullies & thieves not just in Pakistan but outside of Pakistan as well. She is also an ABIM board-certified physician & works as a hospitalist. She has written for scientific journals on heart failure. She is the mother of three children herself & her wish is to carve out a peaceful future that is viable & prosperous for the generations to come.
