Pak Youth Crisis
Pak Youth Crisis by freekissan-freepakistan first information report
Pakistan Youth faces a grave youth crisis. If we deny this crisis, we will never be able to solve it. FKFP-FIR held a session to discuss Pak Youth crisis & the focus was on finding solutions that work. Solutions that will actually fix this problem. No political correctness. Just facts & figures. No censorship. Just the truth.
Pak Youth is being abused by politicians & NGOs. They have seminars & conferences but they have no solutions. We had a bunch of Pakistan youth leaders sit down to highlight most significant issues facing our youth. Then, they also came up with tangible solutions to solve this crisis. It was a brainstorming session with excellent points raised by intellectuals. A very dynamic group of Pakistan youth leaders for whom sky is the limit. They are all achievers at a very young age & here is what they have to tell Pakistan's youth this 23rd March.
Pak Youth Problems
1. Lack of Planning
2. Lack of Creativity
3. Lack of Leadership development
4. Lack of a street-smart & practical curriculum
5. Too much focus on seminars without a goal-directed activity
6. Waste of precious resources on food, advertising & glam in youth conferences without any impact.
7. Lack of awareness of presence of opportunities.
8. Lack of self-confidence
9. Too much dependance on others' opinion
10. Lack of opportunity to improve upon the current systems
11. Abuse of youth in internship programs.
12. Current system is creating slaves not masters
13. Anger control issues
14. Tendency to ridicule & criticize others.
Solutions
1. Development of a parallel curriculum in all schools that focuses on development of ethics, morale, confidence, self-reliance, creativity & effective leadership that empowers the youth instead of freezing their assets.
2. Dissemination of this curriculum using all outlets that can be accessible.
3. Reforms in current educational conferences/seminars practice. Cap on overhead expense budget & food. Money must be directed towards awards & grants for competitive youth that must be distributed on the day of seminar. 1-dish conferences only.
4. 360 degrees evaluation where students have the right to report any sort of abuse anonymously.
5. Use writing, blogging, poetry to vent anger.
6. Reinforce positive behaviors & positivity.
7. Focus on 2-3 things surrounding a problem. For instance, change the attitude of not just the child but that of his/her parent & teacher also for best results.
