Before the world tries to say anthing else, always remember who #Cheney was. #DickCheney committed war crimes. He colluded with the Military Industrial complex & the energy companies to showcase a lie in the United Nations in a bid to justify the invasion in #Iraq by #US. US invaded Iraq committing heinous atrocities against millions of Iraqis. One million Iraqi civilians were massacred brutally by Dick Cheney. Many US Marine officers came back with amputated limbs & many came back in coffins in the name of freedom & democracy. At the end of all of this, no weapons of mass destruction were found. Saddam was hanged for daring to disobey the deep state. Iraq was decimated. Dick Cheney walked away with billions of $$$ in his pockets. He was never convicted for this in any US court. UN never confronted him. ICC never indicted him. He lived a happy life & he is still hailed as an American hero by many Americans.
So what is it that you can conclude from the life of Dick Cheney? Was he the only problem? Was he the only one to blame for the loss of 1 million lives? Unless we are ready to identify the additinal collaborators of Dick Cheney- we cannot change anything. Dick Cheney knew he was not alone. He had support. He had cover. No one could touch him. And no one did. Families of amputated & fallen soldiers of US army never attempted to seek justice by demanding a trial. Even the democrats who were his political rivals never tried to get justice. He was left to enjoy the tasty fruits of his corruption & malice. Hollywood just made a movie VICE over his corruption. But that did not convict him or imprison him. There were protests. There was activism by some. But at large, the nation & the system let him be. So he lived a life of fullfillment & died a natural death today.
In his shoes, we see #Biden launch the genocide in Gaza. Billions of $$$ from American tax payors' accounts were spent to kill little children in #Gaza. #US arms & bombs butchered these children. #Trump who got elected in the name of ending this genocide continued more genocide. In his Knesset speech, he confessed that #Netanyahu called him multiple times for one weapon or another for this & he supported him. Even if you had doubts over Trump's involvelemt-his Knesset speech exposed his true intentions. Trump armed & funded the Gaza genocide 100%. And the irony is that there are a large number of Americans who support Trump & there are a large number of Americans who support Biden. So if you call both Biden & Trump war criminals-can you just blame the two of them only? Both of them have the entire US congress with them & this US Congress is backed by most Americans. So can you call these Americans innocent & say that they are not responsible for the genocide in Gaza? You see them applaud both Presidents. You see them give respect to both. So how can you say that this genocide was just committed by Trump & Biden & not the American people. American people are standing by both these war criminals just like they stood by Dick Cheney. Both Biden & Trump expect complete immunity from the American people just like Dick Cheney received complete immunity all his life from the American people. In the last 2 years, US has bombed Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Qatar, Egypt, Iraq in addition to Gaza. US has done so using its own bombs & arms & the American people have allowed this to happen. All resolutions to end the genocide in UN have been vetoed by US under both Biden & Trump with complete support of the American people.
Even today we are seeing a bogus peace treaty being orchestrated to make Trump & Kushner rich. And this is being done with the complete permisssion of the American people. Gaza is getting bombed non-stop. Genocide continues. Aid blockade continues. US government is doing it. And Americans are enabling their government to do so. I am not going to anymore just blame Dick Cheney or Biden or Trump alone. I hold the American people accountable for the war crimes that were committed in Iraq & the ones that are being committed right now in Gaza. Americans are 100% responsible for these war crimes. They have elected & enabled their rulers to continue to do this for decades without any accountability. About time, someone asked the American people to stand in the court of international law & acknowledge their collusion in these gruesome genocides. If American people had convicted Dick Cheney as per US constition for his war crimes in #Iraq, the genocide in #Gaza would have never happened.
