Kashmir & Dialogue

Once upon a time there was a revolution. In that revolution, thousands of people had perished. Women were raped. Children were tortured. These were all civilians. Their only crime was that they wanted to liberate their land from the clutches of an oppressive regime. Their territories were occupied by 700,000 soldiers who monitored every move they made. For every 5 of them, one soldier was appointed. If an army officer raped a woman or tortured a child killing him/her, he had complete immunity from his state. Most of the humanitarian NGO's were forbidden from entering the region. When someone tried to use force to defend himself against so much aggression, he/she was labelled as a militant. Open fires were shot at peaceful protestors by soldiers every now & then killing a score of civilians. Army jeeps would run over pedestrians killing more. No One stood up for these people except for Pakistan. No One tried to wipe their tears except Pakistan. No One tried to raise concerns over so much oppression at international forums except Pakistan.
Who were these people? They were Kashmiris.
Kashmir is burning. However, it has hardly received any media coverage. All international forums have been defiantly rejected by India adamant to continue its oppressive occupation of the Kashmir region. The revolution exists even today & it has only escalated in light of recurring bouts of atrocities committed by the Indian Army against Kashmiri civilians. But, the global leaders refuse to acknowledge the Indian apartheid because they are too enticed by the economic lollypops offered to them by India.
Pakistan has tried many times to initiate a dialogue for peace pushing for a plebiscite. However, India refuses to pay any attention to Pakistan's ambassadors of good will. In fact, all efforts of peace by Pakistan have been responded with further aggression by India. All efforts of dialogue have led to a dead end. The well-mediated accords between India & Pakistan during times of Bhutto have been violated by India multiple times. India has committed multiple ceasefire violations at the LOC leading to a culminating pile of collateral damage of Pakistani civilians at the border. In addition, Ajit Doval has publicly admitted that RAW has funded TTP & banned factions to commit terrorism on Pakistan soil. This has been confirmed by Kalbushan Jhadav; an Indian spy caught by Pakistan army. Recently, India precipitated a series of such terrorist attacks in our elections blasting more than 250 civilians in less than 2 weeks. Yet, FATF chose to put Pakistan in a grey list because of persistent lobbying from India on the basis of false allegations.
Pakistan has been pushed to a point where we are willing "to burn all boats of return" before we go to war against India. Diplomatic hostility aggravated by hard-core military strikes of India against Pakistan in the form of proxy war leaves us no choice but to quit our efforts for dialogue & take on an offensive stance. When I say offensive, I do not mean terrorism. No. Pakistan stands by its principles to fight against terrorism not promote it. But, self defence is everyone's right. Our National security has been put at stake by Indian aggression & we have to respond befittingly to India to decelerate its recurrent strikes. If US can destroy half of the Middle East & Afghanistan over one terrorist attack of 9/11, why is Pakistan being discouraged when it tries to seek retribution for the loss of thousands of precious lives of civilians at the hands of RAW-funded TTP-orchestrated terrorism?
Dialogue has been counter-productive for us as a nation because India never keeps any of the contracts it makes with us. Shimla Accords, Indus Water treaty & UN resolutions have all been revoked by Indian regime in the past. So, why exactly should we waste any more time mediating a truce when we know India will only use it to its own advantage?
If your enemy continues to wreck every code of conduct you signed together, why would you continue to insist on writing more treaties together when you know that your enemy will very much break them soon? In the interim, the escalation of violence against Kashmiris remains unabated by the Indian forces against all UN resolutions & Amnesty's warnings violating Geneva Conventions.
When India attacked Kashmir in 1948 after Nehru agreed to annex it to Pakistan in 1947, Jinnah who was the master of negotiations & mediations did not seek dialogue to resolve Kashmir. Jinnah asked Pakistan Army to strike back & fight back as a result of which we fought our first war against India liberating Azad Kashmir. So, when the founding father of Pakistan did not pursue dialogue with Nehru over Kashmir, why are the Pakistani bureaurocrats so reluctant to pursue an offensive stance against Indian aggression? Did Pakistan build a nuclear bomb to showcase it only? What is the use of Pakistan pursuing nuclear arsenal when we have been unable to use our nuclear success to our advantage? By this, I do not mean that we should go ahead & nuke India. No. We should not do that. But, we should strike back with full force & teach India enough lesson to force it to come to a table of negotiations where we can have a better advantage over India for liberation of Kashmir. If we can't do that, then what is the use of pursuing this global rat race of nuclear arsenal? If we can't give India an equivalent response to its aggressive strikes, then what's the use of showing off our military capability to the rest of the world? Our lack of tangible action is actually precipitating more violence against us by encouraging Indian army. If we are to decelerate this vicious cycle of violence, we have to quit sending love letters to India. I was shocked to see our upcoming PM Imran khan not even mention Kashmir when Modi called him to congratulate him. I was even more upset when I saw his party's core committee evaluate the possibility of inviting Modi to Imran's oath-taking ceremony. The blood of our martyrs a few weeks ago from the blasts committed by RAW has not even dried up & our upcoming government is planning a welcome embrace for the mediators of these blasts. What will it take for our current & upcoming government regimes to stop kissing the butt of our enemies? How many more Pakistanis have to die in these RAW-funded blasts & how many more Kashmiris have to die from Indian atrocities before our government decides to give India a befitting response instead of bouquets of flowers?
